An Antique Mahogany Secretary in French Vanilla

I got this glorious antique Chippendale secretary a couple weeks ago but had to wait to start it while I finished a bunch of custom work. It's a spectacular example of the form, all the bells and whistles with a serpentine front, gutsy fretwork in the windows, bold ball and claw feet, and a fine fluted finial. I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to do it in a new custom mixed color, French Vanilla, and the interior in simple decorator white. I distressed the piece and the sealed it entirely with dark wax. I kept the original drawer pulls but recolored them in gold for a more elegant finish.
