A Farmhouse Cupboard

If there's a downside to this furniture business, it's the constant temptation. And I live in a fairly small cottage. Don't get me wrong, I adore my house, but there's only so much space. So when a piece of furniture tempts me, something else has to go. I put a vintage stepback cupboard in my dining room, and the gorgeous antique cupboard that was there has been stored for two months while I battle the agony of parting with it. But I can't own everything. I removed the clunky hutch top, which wasn't original to it anyway, sanded, stained, and sealed the top, and painted the case a nice fresh white, lightly distressed. Isn't it pretty. Egad I'm sad to see it go. Hopefully it finds a good home!
